We are proud to offer various options for teeth whitening that are personalized according to the desire and the need of each person. From the whitening made at home to the accelerated whitening made in our clinic, the patients can enjoy a more bright and shiny smile in a short period of time.

Types of teeth whitening

In-Office teeth whitening

This is the most preferred whitening method.  Unlike home-use whitening systems it takes place under carefully monitored conditions. The gums are sealed so we can prevent irritation and after that the doctor will apply on your teeth the whitening gel. The hydrogen peroxide gel is now activated by the light radiation with controlled intensity and duration. Your teeth can literally brighten up to 10 shades in about an hour.

Home tooth whitening

“Take home” whitening is the more commonly used technique because it is easy to perform and is less expensive. Impressions are taken of your teeth from which custom bleach trays can be fabricated for your home whitening and maintenance program. The treatment lasts for about 7 days. *When using the trays at home, please remember to brush and floss thoroughly before inserting the trays as the bleach gel works best on clean enamel. Any surface stain or plaque present will prevent the bleach gel from penetrating the enamel in those areas and your bleaching will not be even.

Endodontic whitening

With a specially formulated 35% hydrogen peroxide whitening gel the specialist can rewhite your tooth by filling the pulp chamber. After, it is sealed with a temporary cement and left in the tooth for three to five days. This gel is used for endodontically treated or discolored teeth.

Tooth whitening can last for many years, depending on how well you take care of your teeth. You should avoid tooth colouring foods and drinks such as dark chocolate, red wine, coffee, dark sodas etc.

Zirconia crowns

Nowadays, Zirconium is becoming one of the most chosen materials for dental crowns. Its many advantages include:

  • Natural tooth aspect
  • Biocompatible
  • Quick accommodation
  • Durability

It is important that you have dental crown that will look natural especially if it will be placed at the front teeth and will be visible beside the natural teeth. The capacity of zirconium to be modified according to the set of teeth it will be placed alongside with is very important. Zirconium crown will not only replace a tooth but it can shaped so that it will look better than the one it will be replacing with. This therefore is why you can sport that perfect natural looking smile anytime. Zirconia manufacturers are now producing and designing dental crowns custom milled from solid block of the material and baked at ultra high temperatures to ensure that the finished crowns are almost indestructible.Te means that it is safe to stay within your mouth for a long time. There is no need to worry about any adverse reactions from your body because it is not rejected by the human body.

E-Max Crowns

Like the Zirconium crown, the E-Max crown is a type of full ceramic crown which is preferred for its aesthetic qualities. There is no metal alloy base which means no grey line around the gum line. This crown is considered to be the best match with your own natural teeth.

E-Max restorations can help fix:

Discolored or stained teeth

Crooked teeth

Chipped or cracked teeth

Decayed teeth

Older dental work utilizing metal

Shape or form of teeth

And many more issues!

Emax crowns represent the ideal solution for patients complaining of allergic reaction to various metals. They are used especially in the front teeth.

Dental Veneers

A porcelain veneer is a thin pieces of porcelain used to recreate the natural teeth. The porcelain veneers give the teeth a natural aspect, offering transparency similar to that of the natural teeth. The porcelain surface is very smooth and impenetrable, reason for which the veneered teeth will never change color.

Patients who are considering porcelain veneers are typically looking to address multiple structural or cosmetic issues with their teeth, such as: cracks, gaps between teeth, minor misalignment or discoloration.

Inlays/Onlays

These are dental names for two types of filling which are used to repair a damaged tooth or to stop the further spread of tooth decay. During treatment the dentist removes the old fillingsand takes an impression of the tooth, which is sent to our dental laboratory. The inlay or onlay blends successfully with the treated tooth and the rest of the teeth to achieve a natural, uniform appearance.

Ideal candidates for inlay or onlay work typically have too much damage or decay in the tooth structure to be successfully treated using a filling, but have sufficient healthy tooth remaining to avoid the need for a crown. This allows the dentist to conserve more of the patient’s original tooth structure.

Tooth-coloured fillings

In the past, teeth were filled with a mixture of different metals (amalgam). Today dental fillings take a diffrent approach. Dentitsts prefer a more natural-looking and metal-free dental fillings. Direct fillings require small amounts of restorative materials being placed into cavities resulting from decay. It is applied in layers which are instantly set with special lights, meaning the entire filling can be built up and repaired by the time you leave the dental office.
